A Dishwasher Water Damage

Recently, SERVPRO of Rochester was called to mitigate a job where the dishwasher created a water damage. 

The first photo shows the beautiful kitchen before our technicians started working on the job. 

The second photo shows the same area in the kitchen after our technicians found the cause, took moisture readings, removed the dishwasher and the affected flooring.  If you look closely at the second photo, you will see a dark area. This area is where the dishwasher was and is actually water that was soaked into the subfloor.

If you do not properly mitigate a water damage, you can get secondary damage. Also drying out the affected areas is to be done using professional grade drying equipment. People think you can use a few fans and their dehu and it will be just fine. Not true. You need SERVPRO of Rochester to properly mitigate your water damage.
